With age, the number of collagen produced decrease as well as the elasticity of elastin wears out. Skin cells divide slowly as we get older and cause thinning of skin which can bend in any direction. All these changes in the skin lead to the formation of wrinkles.

Symptoms of wrinkles:

The appearance of fine lines or creased skin is the most common symptom of wrinkles. Sagging of skin and thinning of skin is the other skin disorder which you encounter with wrinkles.

Home remedies for Wrinkles:

  1. Applying egg white on your skin is an excellent way to lower your wrinkles on the skin. It contains a lot of vitamins and minerals which nourish the skin and make it tight.

  2. Make a mixture of 1-2 tablespoon juice of sugarcane and 2-3 teaspoon turmeric. Apply it on the fine line of wrinkles and leave it there for around 15 minutes. Wash your face gently.
  3. Facial massages are a good way to prevent the formation of wrinkles. It increases blood circulation and bring life to skin cells.
  4. Taking one teaspoon of chopped ginger with honey at sunrise is considered a legitimate way to get rid of wrinkles.
  5. Eat healthy food and avoid junk food. Include green fresh vegetable, fruits and eggs in your daily diet as these things are able to keep your skin healthy and thus slow down the aging process.
  6. Drink plenty of water daily as it hydrates your skin and remove toxins from the body.
  7. Avoid smoking as research says that smoking causes reduction in the production of collagen which provides structural support to skin.
  8. Avoid going in the sun or use sun protection cream before going outside.
  9. Vitamin E deficiency also appears on your skin as wrinkles. Include vitamin E rich diet in your food.

Follow these tips and be consistent in your approach, and finally these wrinkles will begin to fade away.

I love home remedies, like #2. The easiest thing to do though, and most people donot understand - though thats changing, is to protect your skin with sun block! Trouble is, tanned skin will always be considered healthy looking
