In this way, steamed or minor boiled carrots make beta carotene easily accessible for body. How to store carrot:Carrots are hard root vegetable which can be stored for a longer time without losing its freshness. To keep the carrot freshness, you should keep it in the coolest part of the refrigerator. Before storing in a refrigerator, you should cut its green top as they extract moisture from the root and make the carrot wilt. Try to avoid keeping carrot near potato, apples or other vegetables, which generate ethylene and make carrot bitter.
