Neck pain - Cause and cure

Cause of Neck Pain:Neck pain arises due to increased pressure on neck muscles. When we sit in front of computer with our head, bent towards the computer screen, our posture cause lots of pressure on the lower part of the neck and upper part of back bone. When this strain continues for a longer time, pain starts in neck muscles. Sometimes it extends to shoulders, elbows and wrists. Other symptoms with neck pain:There are otherĀ symptoms with neck pain if you sit in front of computer for a long time. These include blurring vision, weakness in arm muscles. Using a mouse and keyboard all along the day causes wear and tear of wrist and finger joints. Relation of Ergonomic posture and neck pain:Our body is designed in such a way that our ear, shoulders and hips should reside in a plane. Going outside from this plane causes non desirable distribution of gravitational force along the body. This gravitational force puts pressure on some part of body like neck which are not designed for such pressure. So bad posture is a key element of neck pain. Tips to avoid neck pain:
